GenOS
A concept for describing a computer environment in plain text and streaming it to any device.
What it is
An MVP-stage design for composing virtual machine or container environments from natural-language commands and streaming them to thin clients. The repo holds a FastAPI backend skeleton, architecture and roadmap documents.
What it does
- Architecture of composer, orchestration engine, runtime, sandbox and streaming gateway.
- ARCHITECTURE.md, MILESTONE_ROADMAP.md and TESTING_DEPLOYMENT.md in the repo.
Limits and honest status
- README lists capabilities (runtimes, streaming, mobile clients) as features without evidence that all are implemented.
- Concept and early prototype; last pushed 2025-07-21.
